Here's a short video tutorial on how to embed a PDF link into a page or post using WordPress.
0:01 Today, I'm going to demonstrate how to embed a PDF link directly into the WYSIWYG editor in WordPress. This is a sample site we've created for you and I'm already logged in.
0:13 So I'll click edit page. I'd like the link to appear after the button in this text block, place your cursor in the editor, enter down, click add media.
0:35 Your media library may have a PDF folder. In which case you can go ahead and drag your file directly into the PDF folder.
0:44 Otherwise you would just be in the media library. You can upload files directly here. In this case, we have the PDF folder.
0:50 So click the file over here in the title field is where you enter the text for the actual link. So download services overview PDF, and click insert into page.
1:05 And you can see the link is now in the content area. I will go ahead and click update and let's go take a look at what that looks like.
1:19 Here we go. Now I can change the styles of these. So I think I would rather that red button or the button be fully red.
1:29 And, let's see what style options I have available for PDF. So back to the editor, click on the button here and click the format.
1:41 So right now it's set as button secondary. So let's undo that and I would like to make it a regular button style.
1:48 So let's just make that the red button and now with the PDF file, just place your cursor there and let's try the CTA link style.
1:59 I think that's going to look really nice and click update and go back to the page and click refresh. And that is how you embed it.
