0:00 Hello, in this video I will show you how to save page templates and apply them to other pages. This can be really helpful if you know that multiple pages will have the same layout.
0:10 You can add all the blocks to a single page, save it as a template, and then when you go to edit those other pages, just apply the template and it'll bring all the same blocks in.
0:20 Now currently this is the home page for our sandbox, so I want, I'm going to save this as a page template.
0:26 I'm going to move my icon down here in the left, next to your update button, which will turn purple if you have updates that you need to save.
0:33 Umm, but it's black right now because I haven't changed anything. But right next to it is this arrow. When you click on this, this allows you to save the entire page as a template.
0:44 This is slightly different than saving a block. If you click on a block, you can say save that as a template as well.
0:51 But it will only save what is contained within that purple outline. So to save the whole page, you do it over here.
0:59 When you save it, you can just name it whatever you'd like. I'm going to say homepage template. And now it has been added to the My Templates Library under homepage template here.
1:14 Now anytime you want to add it, if you go to a blank page, we'll pretend that this one is bla- blank here at the bottom and you see this little outline here.
1:23 You can just select the page template or the template icon here. It'll bring you into My Templates and you can search for the one that you just created.
1:32 Then once you hit insert, it'll apply all the blocks within that template to the page. It may take a second to load because it is bringing in multiple templates at once.
1:51 But once it's in, then you can see it's added all the same blocks that were saved in the previous template.
1:59 And then you can just hit update. To save your progress, and go through and make any content changes that you need to from there.
2:05 Alright, thanks for watching.
