How to update Yoast SEO fields in Elementor

  1. Navigate to the settings gear icon in the lower left corner of the Elementor page builder
  2. At the top of the screen, there will be a tab for Yoast SEO
  3. Then scroll to the search appearance section
  4. This will open a window where you can edit the SEO title and meta description

0:00 Hello! In this video, I'll show you how to edit Yoast SEO while you're in the Elementor, uh, interface. Now, you can get to Yoast SEO in the WordPress editor, which is available here.
0:14 However, you can also access it within Elementor. And I'll show you where to find it, since it is a bit of a hidden element.
0:22 When you first go in, if you go to the side here on the left, and you go down to Settings here, click on this icon and it'll bring up the page settings.
0:32 Which are also available on the front end of the WordPress editor. Up here at the top, you can see there's a tab specifically for Yoast SEO.
0:40 And this will give you the same options to edit your meta description and your title tag, as it does on the other, uh, WordPress interface.
0:48 Now to get to the meta description, you need to go to search appearance here, and it'll bring up this pop-up that then allows you to change the meta description, the SEO title, and even the slug of the page if you need to.
1:03 Then once you're done, you just hit return to your page, and come down here to update, and it will save any changes you've made in this Yoast SEO interface.
1:12 And that's how you access Yoast SEO within Elementor. You can also find it if you come up here to this top little icon, and we have under more Yoast SEO here, which will bring you right back to that window.
